My Home-Made Quiver

I made a quiver earlier this week - it took all of two days (4/14 and 4/15/03, I believe), and is made of an old leather miniskirt I made for a pow-wow at summer camp years ago.  I also made a shooting glove, which isn't as good - the leather was in worse shape, and my sewing machine was grumbling.  Oh, and at some point I need to shorten the elastic.

It can be worn on either the belt or the back.

Here's the glove and a picture of the quiver by itself.

I noticed the side stitching didn't show up in any pictures, so here's one of just that.

I'll most likely create instructions and put them on the web.  If you're good at sewing and have the correct tools, it's quite simple - not the near-mystical process I'd imagined.  I made it by looking at the side quiver picture on this page: Castle Longbows
