He had always known that he was somehow odd,

tossed out of grace by some unforgiving god.

He saw the creatures of the night and consciously he chose

to take their plight forever as his own.

 

It was in a little valley as he walked her to her home,

he realized that he had a chance, at last they were alone.

He used a knife and drank the ruby flow,

then left her body lying in the snow.

 

This song is based on a rumor about someone I knew in college.  The rumor turned out to be false.  He did, however, believe that he was a Scottish vampire, and did run away with his underage girlfriend to New Orleans within a year after Interview with a Vampire came out in the theaters.   Original, eh?
