Her
dreams are split forever
Gm

like
two sides of a knife.

Faces
opposite each other
Gm

with
a hair-fine line between . . .
C
She
wants to be a pauper and
Gm
Fm Gm
she
wants to be a queen.
So
many lives and faces that
she
never wants to know.
So
many darkened alleys where
her
heart's yearning to go.
She
wants to find protection
but
she's always flying free...
She's
fascinated by the things
she
doesn't want to see.
She's
a walking contradiction
confused
by bitter pain.
Torn apart by hatred
for
a world that's gone insane.
Her
only joy is struggling,
she wants an end to strife.
She
balks from new ideas
and
thinks there must be more to life.
